This is a Sapele Mahogany top with welded mild steel legs and structure. We can do items of this variety with specific size and shape for a price competitive with furniture stores. The top could be oak, reclaimed pine, cypress, or walnut flitch, all of which we stock. Probably the best value we can offer in a custom furniture piece.
Hector and his new dining room table, all Sapele Mahogany. We stock the Sapele in four thicknesses and buy in quantities that allow us to use this beautiful solid material freely.
The top is reclaimed pine first cut in the early 19th century. A round table can make for very efficient use of a small dining room. For this style base, the piece is bolted to the architecture.
A taller and smaller version of a classic tavern table design—all shop made including turnings for the legs. This piece still awaits its tung oil finish.
